In Episode 27 we chat to Naomi Winstone who is The Director of the Surrey Institute of Education at the University of Surrey. Naomi's background is in cognitive and educational psychology, where she has sustained a track record of integrating innovative teaching methods and formative assessment into her teaching. She has influenced practice across the sector through her research on student engagement with feedback. Those at Southampton may recall that back in 2019 Naomi gave a very inspiring Keynote Talk at the Inaugural CHEP Festival of Teaching and Learning. In this episode of the podcast it was fantastic to catch up with her and discuss what she has been doing since and the finer detail of feedback approaches and processes in HE.
